Estate Sale Saturday
Hey, and welcome to my first installment of the (hopefully) weekly Estate Sale Saturday Saturday segment. My mother and I enjoy Estate Saleing, so I thought I’d share some cool stuff with you guys. Hopefully you’ll like it?
Today, I got the most beautiful antique Mason jars you’ve ever seen, engraved with flowers and fleur-de-lises. I love, with a capital L-O-V-E, love decorating mason jars. Currently I’m working on turning one into a really cool jewelry box, er, jar, which will probably turn out well? Maybe I’ll make one and hold my first giveaway.

Today at school, we had character/icon day. Me being Skye, naturally I choose Audrey Hepburn. Gorgeous, perfectly styled, proper and stylish, what’s not to like? Unfortunately, everyone at school thought I was Marilyn Monroe (NO), sigh.

Braces
Today, me and my sister Sasha got braces. At first I was like “NO!”, but know that I have them, their pretty cool. Kind of. Anyway, I decided, I’m going to have you guys vote on the color brackets I get. Yay! Pick something cute.
Also, today I’m holding my first photo shoot. The model? My twelve year old sister, Sasha (did you really think I’d get in front of a camera?)

Marvelous Moxie Smooth Talker: bareMinerals
bareMinerals is my favorite makeup brand, and I immediately bought their new Marvelous Moxie lip gloss. It has cinnamon in it, which gives a soft buzz on your lips, like Burt’s Bee’s. As a self-admitted lip-licker, I can vouch it tastes good. It comes in 12 different colors, but I chose Smooth Talker, a pale pink/orange color that looks pretty good with auburn hair and green eyes, if I say so myself. I would recommend this gloss to anyone, as it’s colors would go with almost anyone. The only con is that it’s pricey ($18 dollars), but I believe it’s worth it.

Yay! I subscribed to ipsy!
So, I’ve been reading about ipsy and Birtchbox, and decided to subscribe to one of them. I choose ipsy, because in general, the reviews were MUCH better, and they come with a cute bag :). Hopefully it will give me more things to review, and be worth my Ten Bucks.
Anyways, that’s not my blog post for today. I found an adorable nail polish, Boogie Nights by Sinful Colors. It was really popular a few years back, and it’s an amazing coral color. It would look perf with a dark purple tee or blouse, or even a wine colored dress. Here’s a pic::::
